You will have fun meeting and feeling the warmth of a delightful host as she leisurley stroll on lands that are full of history, and have been producing a wide range of tropical fruits and foods for over 250 years. Along the way you can sample a variety of fruits straiht from the trees. You will also learn of the therapeutic and medical values of the trees themselves and other herbs and spices you probaly never saw in the natural. This tour is very educational. Enjoy the experience of the Jamaican National Dish from a fruit called Ackee that was brought from Tahaiti by an English Explore named Captain Bligh in 1793. This fruit can be found in several Caribbean Islands but only in Jamaica it is consumed. This Plantation is only 30 minutes away from the Ocho Rios Cruise Ship Pier and it gives you a chance to see a great deal of the eastern parts of the Island, Farm Villages and Peasant Communities. We then take you on a scenic tour of Fern Gully, Through the native villages, also a panoramic view of the town of Ocho Rios or shopping, your favourite pasttime. DUNNS RIVER FALLS/BEACH/TUBINGThis tour starts at the world renowned spectacular waterfalls cascading from 600 to 800 ft. Above sea level.
